So I did something stupid earlier today; I am never around when sign-ups are up for Big Bangs so when I saw an advert for sherlockbigbang
I jumped at the chance and signed up... twice, which means a minimum of 15,000 words each between now and near the end of November, as well as the things that will come up at thegameison_sh
I should have just signed up for one but I have two very different plot bunnies in my head and couldn't help signing up for both of them - I couldn't decide which to do and which not to do!First Plot
John starts having visions he thinks are of the future but they turn out to be of the past and everyone but Lestrade thinks he's useless. Eventually John/Lestrade.
Moriarty sets Sherlock another challenge but he fails, leading to a bomb going off which kills a lot of Lestrade's collegues and superficially injures Lestrade. Moriarty doesn't tell Sherlock what the correct answer was to the question. Lestrade suffers with survivors guilt, is demoted and struggles not to sink into addiction. Sherlock is banned from communication with the police. The search for Moriarty is consuming both Lestrade and Sherlock and both are forbidden from taking part in the official investigation. Sherlock decides to use Lestrade to get to crime files to see if he can see any links to Moriarty and is so desperate to find the answer to the question that he ignores or doesn't spot the addiction signs and just ends up making Lestrade worse and Lestrade is forced by his bosses to take time out and not come near the station, leading to Sherlock abandoning him as he is useless to him now. Then, a few months from the inital bomb blast and the day that Lestrade is put on leave, Moriarty contacts John and gives him a riddle to solve (maybe same challenge, maybe a few smaller ones, not sure yet), without Sherlock's help, or Harry will be killed (though she isn't kidnapped.) John then has to try and hide his task from a bored Sherlock who has decided to follow Watson around, analysing his every move for fun. He goes to Lestrade to try and get help and realises just how ill Lestrade is. This one will be Lestrade/Sherlock and eventually Lestrade/Watson.
The plot bunnies are eating my brain, do either of these sound adequate plots at all? :S
On a lighter note I made a mini-picspam for a scifiland
challenge this morning which was meant to be the theme of 'lolz.' - I know that this isn't the order the images were shown on screen but I liked the alternative story lol;
So, anyone doing the Sherlock Big Bang? It would help knowing I'm not the only crazy one lol!
